Cheshire-based Applications Software developers Kodit are delighted to announce that we have won an ‘Excellence in Environmental Applications’ award at the Offshore Arabia 2012 Conference. The award was made based upon our work with client Oil Spill Response Limited, and was presented at a Gala Dinner held at the prestigious Armani Hotel, situated in the iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.
Richard Sims (Middle East Regional Manager) of Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) was kind enough to collect the award on Kodit’s behalf (see attached picture). During his acceptance speech, Richard described the close collaboration between KODIT and OSRL and how Kodit’s AccuCheck Asset Management system improves the logistics of OSRL’s operations, maintenance and customs management. Richard focused specifically on how the AccuCheck system improved the company’s ability to respond to OSRL members in a more timely and streamlined manner. This was particularly useful during 2010′s Macondo well control incident in the Gulf of Mexico.
