Kodit’s LPCB Tags and Database succeeds again

When Tina Adamson, Tech Demonstrator of Somerset College, Taunton, received a parcel form one of the major UK carriers, she was amazed upon opening it, to find inside two laptops, when she had expected something completely different! 

Both laptops were security tagged with tags supplied by Kodit, so Tina spoke to Kodit immediately and was able to give unique details from the Asset/Security tags which allowed Kodit to identify the legal owner of the Laptops. 

Upon contacting the owner Applabs, Neil Taylor was able to advise that they had lost/mislaid two laptops 2 weeks ago during a delivery by courier, and that company had since been unable to locate the delivery, which was extremely worrying! 

Neil confirmed that the numbers on the missing laptops corresponded with the numbers on the laptops discovered at Somerset College, and Kodit put both parties in touch with each other so that ‘repatriation’ could be arranged!. 

Both Neil and Tina were very impressed with Kodit’s service, which is based upon our Loss Prevention Certification Board accredited Asset/Security tags and Database registration scheme.
