Stolen laptop recovered thanks to quick thinking Publican

A Brighton-based publican became suspicious after a man came into her establishment offering a Laptop for sale.

The publican said “I was very suspicious of the laptop being offered for sale to my clients. I spotted the Kodit Security Tag, and when I went to question the man regarding the laptop he panicked and fled. It was uncovered that the laptop had been taken from a tube station in London on Friday night, and via Brighton, was reunited with its legal owner some 300 miles away in North Yorkshire on Monday - a very quick turnaround for a very lost laptop.
